When Joel began school he became a huge University of Kentucky fan so this year we joined the UK Kid's club. The boys get free tickets to one game in each sport UK plays. Today we headed to the football game.
When we came out of the tunnel and into the stadium I was amazed! The entire stadium was Royal blue and white. Everyone was standing & shouting, the bands were playing, the dancers dancing, cheerleaders cheering etc. The team spirit was incredible and I kept telling Paul I'd never seen anything like it - not even at an ATM game - I mean the entire stadium was literally blue & white. Then when the football teams ran out on the field I realized that both sides were Royal Blue & White! We had a great laugh over that one.
