Plums

For the past couple of weeks we've been picking plums off the trees on the side of our house. We discovered the trees by a happy accident last year and were excited when we started seeing fruit again this year. The trees have gotten to be huge and haven't been well maintained but they still provided us with several bowls full of sweet & sour plums. We had a lot of fun checking the trees every day and trying to find the best way to reach the plums at the very tops of the trees. Paul came up with the great idea of using one of his painting extension poles with a butterfly net duct tapped to the end for reaching & catching the plums. Yum.
